RED FLAGS

DIAGEO

@2023

Research by Johnnie Walker revealed a stark truth: 66% of women are harassed while out having fun. Fighting this reality is core to Diageo's brand culture, so during Brazil's biggest celebration, Carnaval, we took the conversation straight to the party. The internet already gave us the perfect language for behavior that crosses the line: red flags. So we gave women exactly that, a physical flag to wave against sexual harassment.

Three female illustrators were invitaded to create different versions for the flag-scarves:

"Harrassement doesn't end at the first warning sign, it ends when people head the sign."

These accessories were more than an accent to an outfit, but a statement against harrassement that could be worn on the wrist, hair, neck, or even as clip-on on the purse or belt.
